this post is just to inform the ppl who read this blog,abt the 1st deal by the puneaquainfo group...
We sold 3 pieces of drift wood,dat no LFS guy was ready to buy...the 3 pieces were sold for 75 bucks... As i have stated in my first post,this rate is VERY reasonable for the buyer,at the same time,the drift wood,wich wasnt worth a penny according to all LFS's,fetched atleast 75 rupees!!
So i encourage everyone who wants to sell/buy anything to approach any of the contributors of puneaquainfo,thru orkut or by email... we will be glad to post ur ads!!
Also,even ppl who want to sell off old tanks,working filters/aerators,are welcome to post their products

Introduction to 'puneaquainfo'
Hey ppl, dis is Shubhankar,in my introductory post for the blog 'puneaquainfo.blogspot.com'
Now let me give some introduction abt this blog,abt us, and most importantly the purpose of this blog...Well this whole blog thing,started from an idea wich humaid had,abt creating a website to bring aquarium hobbiests from Pune together...Enter our Computer guy Zuaib! he told us it wud b difficult to get a domain name easily,so we decided to start this project wid a blog... We talked a lot abt this concept,wat this site/blog wud aim at doing and many other things...
Now the main objective,as i stated earlier,wud be to bring aquahobbiests together... Now wen u say aquahobbiests,der r many types of ppl... some r native fish freaks (humaid),Some are real pro's,some like planted setups (hrishi) while some r jus small scale hobbiests (like me!),keeping fish as 'timepass'... So thru this blog,we aim to help ppl solve each oders problems regards aquarium maintenace,fish maintenance,breeding techniques,etc... Also since this blog is currently localised to Pune city,it will also help ppl from different areas in Pune to meet wid like-minded ppl and discus abt fish... Many a times,some LFS gets a nice stock of rare or gud quality fish... thru this blog,one post by someone,wud help many hobbiests from the city,in getting a gud stock of fish...Also,i wud like to add one more thing... I have noticed,dat amatuer breeders r always treated badly by LFS's... Breeders dont even get half the amount of wat these LFS ppl earn on selling the fish... So thru this blog,we cn bring breeders and buyers together... this will achieve 2 aims... Mainly,it will provide encouragement to breeders and get them decent rates for their fish stock.. also,it will help buyers,cuz basically a gud QUALITY of fish will b assured,since the fish wil b home bred... So i urge all Pune fish hobbiests,to spread word abt this blog,among ppl,cuz ultimately it will help every1....
